Our Story: Growing Pickleball on the Gold Coast

Gold Coast Pickleball began in 2017 and has grown into the Gold Coast’s largest pickleball club, welcoming more than 1,000 members across four venues. Our story includes the opening of our Currumbin headquarters and its first eight dedicated outdoor courts, followed by new opportunities to play at Runaway Bay, Tallebudgera and Miami’s Pizzey Park.

Currumbin became the club’s headquarters with its first eight dedicated outdoor pickleball courts. The archive follows this early milestone and the later expansion into Runaway Bay, indoor sessions at Tallebudgera Leisure Centre and outdoor sessions at Pizzey Park in Miami.
